How to Install

  1. Download the Snapchat APK or open the Google Play / App Store link on your device.
  2. If installing the APK, enable 'Install from unknown sources' in your device settings.
  3. Tap the downloaded file and follow the on-screen prompts to install.
  4. Open Snapchat and tap 'Sign Up' to create a new account or 'Log In' if you already have one.
  5. Allow camera, microphone, contacts and notification permissions to get the full experience.
  6. Add friends by username, contacts or Snapcode and start sending your first Snap.

How to Update

How to Use

Send Snaps to specific friends or add them to your Story so all friends can view for 24 hours. Use the Snap Map (pinch the camera screen) to see friends' locations and live events.

Troubleshooting

Problem Snapchat keeps crashing or won't open
Solution Clear the app cache from Settings > Apps > Snapchat > Storage, or uninstall and reinstall the latest version.
Problem Camera shows a black screen
Solution Make sure Snapchat has camera permission in your device settings, close other apps using the camera, and restart your phone.
