How to Install
- Tap the download button for your device (Android APK, Google Play, App Store or Microsoft Store).
- On Android APK: open your device Settings > Security and enable 'Install unknown apps' for your browser.
- Open the downloaded APK file and tap 'Install', then wait for the installation to finish.
- Launch TikTok and sign up with your phone number, email, Google, Facebook or Apple account.
- Select your interests so the For You feed can start personalizing recommendations for you.
How to Update
- Open Google Play Store or the App Store and search for 'TikTok'.
- If a new version is available, tap the 'Update' button.
- For APK users: revisit this page and download the latest APK file, then install it over the existing app — your data will be preserved.
- Enable auto-updates in your store settings so TikTok always stays on the latest version.
How to Use
After installing TikTok, create an account and pick a few interest categories. Swipe up on the home screen to scroll through the For You feed and double-tap any video to like it. To create your first video, tap the '+' button at the bottom, choose a duration, pick a sound from the library, record your clip (or upload existing footage), then add effects, text and filters. Tap 'Next' to write a caption, add hashtags, and choose your privacy settings before posting. Follow creators you enjoy, leave comments and use Duet or Stitch to collaborate with others.
